Enough has been said about the employability of educated youth in India. In spite of being educated in prestigious schools and colleges, the youth of today lack the skills that are demanded by industry at large, leading to frustration on both sides. The root cause of the problem appears to be that the youth are not equipped with the functional and soft skills required to get ahead in their lives, besides the technical skills they have already acquired.
The only person who can provide them these skills, in the absence of their busy parents of today, are the teachers they encounter in their schools and colleges. But are the teachers themselves equipped with these skills to be effective trainers?
The answer is NO, as they themselves are products of the existing deficient system. This situation has forced many employers to take on the responsibility of arranging the teaching of these skills, to their new recruits, so that they can perform their tasks with the minimum acceptable effectiveness. Hence, there is an all-round urgency to train the teachers to be effective in imparting functional and soft-skills to the students/apprentices, in addition to the technical skills they already possess.

In response to the overwhelming demand for this program from institutions and Industry, NTTF has already started this faculty development activity at select training centres in various cities.
The TOT training module is conducted for 3 to 5 days. It is a well proven program as it has been developed by our experts to train our trainers, who have been highly effective in training students, as Workmen/ Supervisors/ Managers in Industry, at the various NTTF centres.
NTTF-TOT (Training of Trainers) is focused on enabling trainers to be effective, by enhancing their functional and soft-skill competence.
The participants learn modern concepts of teaching/training like stimulating, guiding, directing and encouraging the students' learning process "by doing"; meaning that they hone their competencies by practicing the functional and soft-skills (like communication, presentation, teaching etc.). Besides the minimum required lectures in classrooms and 'micro teaching', wherein they would be video-graphed and critiqued by both experts and colleagues to improve their effectiveness, participants will engage in many innovative games to experience and enhance their inter-personal and team-building skills.
Who should attend?
