The one year full time course is aimed at imparting knowledge and skills required to work as a Automation technician in factories. The course initially presents basic concepts of Industrial automation systems elements and later gives in-depth training to use, troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, PC based Data acquisition systems, variable frequency drives, process control instruments, etc.

Subject of Study :

Theory

Analog and digital electronics, microprocessors programming, Sensors &interfacing , process control instrumentation, control panel components wiring, control engineering concepts, Microcontrollers, Siemens Simatics-S7 PLC,Step7 programming , Variable frequency drives, DCS, SCADA, Data acquisition systems, hydraulics and electro- Pneumatics.

Practical:

Practical coverage on above mentioned subjects. Implementation of industry relevant projects in automation during last 3 months of the course.

Eligibility :

Diploma or B.Sc in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation. Age not more than 30 yrs at the time of admission.
