NTTF is offering Several Post Graduate Diploma Programs and Post Graduate Degree Programs NTTF are employment oriented and industry focused. A Faculty Development Centre has been set up at NTTF Dharwad in Karnataka state for sustained faculty up gradation and development.

PG Diploma in Tool Design (PGDTD)

The one year program offered at Bangalore (Peenya campus) provides Engineering Graduates an advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of Tool design to meet the changing demands of the industries, with special reference to press tools and moulds with wide scope for employment in tooling and gauging industries as well as in CAD / CAM areas.

After undergoing this program the students are expected to: Design press tools for sheet metal components Design moulds for plastic components Design pressure die casting dies Use of CAD in the design of press tools, moulds and die casting dies Process planning and manufacture of press tools, moulds and jigs & fixtures Design gauges, jigs & fixtures and application of GD&T.

PG Diploma in Commercial Vehicle Product Development (PGDCVPD)

The one year program offered at Bangalore (Electronic city campus) provides Engineering Graduates an advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of Product design and Development of Commercial vehicles along with real time involvement to the product development of a Disaster response Vehicle.

After undergoing this program the students are expected to: Familiarize with the process of conceptualizing the vehicle architecture Be able to design automobile systems, subsystems and components while working in an organization level environment through design manual procedures Understand interface and integration requirements between various sub systems of a vehicle and its impact on vehicle design, translate Regulatory & homologation requirements for vehicle design into Design validation targets Be proficient in the application of CAD, CAE and system simulation software, as well as generate software for generation of documentation for operation, maintenance and vehicle management.

PG Diploma in Quality Engineering & Management (PGDQM)

The one year program offered at Bangalore (Peenya campus) provides Engineering Graduates an advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of quality engineering & management to meet the global demand of the manufacturing industries.

After undergoing this program the students are expected to: Comprehend the various steps in developing, imple- menting and auditing quality management systems for continual improvement Handle metrological instruments, gauges and compar- ators for inspection, quality assurance and in confor- mance to GD&T Understand and be familiar with quality initiatives like Six Sigma, TQM, DOE, Lean manufacturing, advanced quality and management tools, problem solving ap- proaches Understand and adopt various management system standards To be familiar with different DOE/SQC techniques & analysis using statistical software.
