Electrical and Electronics Engineering (CP23) deals with the engineering problems, opportunities and needs of electrical, electronics, computer, communication systems and related industries. This branch provides trainees with a wide range of fundamental knowledge in core disciplines such as communications, control systems, renewable energy like solar technology, wind energy, etc. power generation, transmission and distribution, switchgear and protection and electrical machines. The discipline focuses on the integration of components into different electrical and electronic systems.

This course provides a solid technological base along with the basic skills needed to sustain professional development throughout a diploma career. As it combines coursework, laboratory classes and projects in different aspects of electrical and electronic engineering, the programme will give knowledge and skills needed to design and develop innovation technologies for a wide range of industry sectors.

 It incorporates the design and development of devices, circuits and systems that are used in a wide range of high-tech level products and so it will appeal to students who like to understand how technology works, and who have an interest in electrical or electronic circuits. Students, who enjoy science, and particularly physics, are usually attracted to it.

 We have a pool of committed faculty members, who teach & help the trainees to learn relevant multi-technical skills along with functional competencies. Our trainees are groomed to develop decision making and problem solving skills by leveraging appropriate course content and teaching and learning methods.\

·      Training methodology used for grooming trainees in better way by imparting 40% theory & 60% Practical’s.

·      On line assessment through TAB test after every session

·      Assessment through Intermediate exams & semester exams.

·   Develop trainee’s competency through technical talk – shop talk – discovery learning, weekend projects& working projects in 6th semester.

·      Provides opportunity to trainees in various competitions like , Tech-Ex organised by M/S Tata Steel, QCC – Regional & world skill competitions conducted by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and Robocon.

·      Exposed to special training through Wind energy / Solar technology trainer kits, Programmable logic controller kits, IoT kit, Industrial Motor Drives kits, Electrical CAD drawing, Programmable logic control kit etc.

·    Trainees are given exposure to modern tools like 5s – Lean manufacturing – TPM concepts through various drives.

The course is designed in 6 semesters to learn theory & perform time bound practical

1st Year – English – Maths – Applied Science – Electronic Device & Circuits – Electrical circuit analysis – Electrical material science – Basics of Computers – Auto CAD Designing (Electrical)- Workshop practices on various machines and bench fittings.

2nd Year -  Digital Electronics – Electrical and electronics measurement – Electrical machines (AC) – Renewal energy 1 ( Solar technology)– Computer programming C, C++ and SQL–Power engineering –Control system– Electrical layout design through Electrical Auto CAAD– Micro controller and application-Electrical machines (DC)-Communication engineering- Renewal energy 2 ( Wind Energy)

3rd Year – Embedded Systems – PLC – Power electronics (basic)– Switchgear and protection-Maintenance and installation of electrical machines– Industrial Management-Industrial drives-Estimation, costing and utilization of energy-Advance Power Electronics-Main projects.

·         Qualified NTTF Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineer

·         Also they will be certified through NSDC in three different sectors.

1st Year – Soldering Technician (Level 3)

2nd Year – Mine Electrician (Level 4)

3rd Year – Junior Engineer (Power distribution) (Level 5)
